T-shirt logo

Postby paulgill » 04 Dec 2010 0927

I've been thinking about a logo for the t-shirts we want to order. As you may know, for many years Fr.Lange swam in St.Mary's Lake every am, even in winter. He hid a pickaxe down by the lakeshore and used it to chop a hole in the ice on cold winter mornings. I think that pickaxe symbolizes the man's self-discipline and toughness. I propose a logo consisting of an interlocking ND, with a barbell under and a pickaxe over the letters. Or, maybe crossed pickaxe and barbell. Thoughts?

Paul:

I think it's a great idea, but I would make one change -- the pickaxe should be shown embedded in Charlie Weis' head.

In that case, Monk, the shirts will all have to be xxxxx-large, or sweatshirts or ponchos.
